Nov 21, 2009 Here's an interesting bisected specimen from our Type and Figured Collection. This is PRI 5868, a fossil cephalopod (related to today's squid and octopuses) called Virgoceras cancellatum named by Rousseau H. Flower in 1939, in Palaeontographica Americana number 10.
