That's right, eating disorders in men are there. Some start off as bad habits, others progress into much more serious issues.
The American Journal of Psychiatry found... 2%-3% of men diet all the time? 5%-14% of men deliberately vomit after eating? 12%-21% have a history of binge eating. These disorders have been ignored in some part. Here are some reasons why. 1. Men tend not to discuss problems with other men as they feel it's a female issue. 2. Men are always working. 3. Men do work out, but they're not eating the right foods for energy and protein. 4. Men become too tired at the end of the work day and they just want to relax or go to bed. 5. Men also are embarrassed about this topic, as they think they are the "man of the house" and need to be tough. 6. Men have this perception that they need to have the "body builder" image and never communicate this perception to the women that love them. So, eating right is not just a problem for busy women, its a problem for men as well. Men, with your hectic schedules, households to manage, and kids to raise, you really have to be diligent about eating right. You can do it! If you want to learn more about eating right and taking care of your heart health, come see me at my North Broadway business called "Love Your Heart."

I would be interested where/what you cite as a source for this info? I'm not debating the accuracy, just wanted to know the source.
