The Greensburg Library and AAA Hoosier Motor Club will partner to host the Dare to Prepare program July 29th from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at the Greensburg Public Library.
Dare to Prepare is a free 90-minute interactive program for parents and teens and is intended to provide critical driving-related information that teens need to know before getting behind the steering wheel of an automobile. The program focuses on concepts and messages that may not necessarily be covered in traditional driver’s education courses such as: *State and national teen driving statistics *Graduated Driver Licensing (GDL) components *State requirements for obtaining a permit and driver license *Roles and responsibilities of parents *Sample parent-teen driving agreement *Practical tips on teaching teens to drive *Parent resources and more! Space is limited and registration is requested, but not required. You DO NOT have to live in Decatur County to attend. All are welcome.
